Well the answer to that is simple. . . It's like ebay but just for Qatar!

qbay allows individuals and businesses a safe, affordable and convenient way to buy or sell virtually anything online at anytime through the www.qbay.com website.

We are Qatar's local online market place.

Qbay is owned and operated by Qatcom LLC (the developer of www.qatcom.com Qatar's online Yellow Business Pages Directory) and was the idea of the founder and group CEO British businessman Mr Stephen Jones. To date, over 1 Million Riyals has been invested into the company infrastructure to bring to the people of Qatar their own local online auction & market place.

Qbay will offer both: Auction style listing & Fixed Price Listing

Auction style listing:

Allows the seller to list an item for a specified time frame. The item can have a reserve set, which must be met in order for the item to sell. Buyers can bid on the item, the highest bid at the end of the specified time frame, is the purchaser (on the condition that the bid is above the reserve).

Fixed Price Listing:

Allows the seller to offer the item at a fixed price. In this case the buyer quite simply clicks the buy it now button.
